To provide entrepreneurs with high-quality incubation environments and attract both domestic and international startups to establish a presence in Taipei, the Taipei City Government has consolidated underutilized spaces and activated idle assets. By using public land, existing facilities, and private-sector contributions, the city has created innovation industry bases covering diverse sectors such as biotechnology and healthcare, ICT, digital content, maker design, blockchain, fashion design, and more. Currently, 13 innovation bases are in operation.
