According to EIU, IMF, OECD and other institutions to observe the economic growth forecast for the world`s major economies in 2022Q3: U.S. real GDP will grow by1.8%, Japan`s real GDP will decline by 1.2%, China`s real GDP will grow by3.9%, the real GDP of the euro area will grow by 2.1%.

The real GDP grew by 4.01% on a year-on-year basis in 2022Q3. The value of export orders in 2022Q3 was US$169.779 billion, a decrease of 1.12% from the same period last year. The total export value in 2022Q3 was US$121.106 billion, an increase of 3.40% over the same period last year. The industrial production index in 2022Q3 is 136.56, an annual decrease of 0.01%.

Taipei Econ Overview

As of the end of September 2022, a total of 235,122 businesses were registered in Taipei City. This number declines by 3,502 compared to the previous year, which represents a year-on-year declines of 1.47%. The capital of enterprises in Taipei City reached 14.00 trillion, an increase of 3.88% over the same period last year. The number of registered factories in Taipei City reached 980, an annual declines of 2.49%.

The number of he Profit-seeking Enterprise in Taipei City is 243,902 and the amount of the Profit-seeking Enterprise Income are 2.86 trillion, an annual increase of 10.28%. The tertiary industry had a sales volume of 2.29 trillion, an annual increase of 10.97%. Approved foreign investments in Taipei City amount to US$ 1,870 million, an annual increase of 23.43%.The number of newly established foreign businesses in Taipei City is 61, which remained constant compared with the same period last year.
